Chase Rice

Chase Rice has seemingly come from out of nowhere to become one of the hottest young artists in country music over the last few years. The singer-songwriter began playing guitar in college, where he also played football at UNC. After graduation he served a stint in the pit crew for race car driver Ryan Newman, and he was also selected to compete on 'Survivor: Nicaragua,' where he made it to the final three. He released his earliest work independently, but Rice caught a career-making break when he helped to co-write "Cruise," which became a massive crossover smash for Florida Georgia Line. In October 2013 he released an EP titled 'Ready Set Roll,' followed by a full-length album, 'Ignite the Night,' in 2014. "Ready Set Roll" gave Rice his first Top 5 single as an artist, and its follow-up, "Gonna Wanna Tonight," showed his fans a different side of the singer-songwriter, continuing the buzz around the rising star.
