Newcomer Tara Thompson's debut single "Someone To Take Your Place" may be a big old hit if it can continue to attract the kind of support it had on the ToC Showdown last weekend. The feisty country song knocked Granger Smith out of the challenger's circle.

Today and Tuesday she'll take on a legend. Martina McBride's first single from her upcoming Reckless album is the title-track. It's her first single in four years, and the first on her upcoming Nash Icon partnership. You'll struggle to find a more personal song, but fans will need to connect deeply to it as well if she's to knock Thompson out.
