Taylor Swift Car to Debut at Kansas NASCAR Race
Taylor Swift's marketing plan for her album 'Red' has included pizza boxes and commercials for Target, but now, the singer will help get fans revved up at the Hollywood Casino 400 of the NASCAR Sprint Cup series on Sunday (Oct. 21).
The superstar won't be singing, but Earnhardt Ganassi Racing driver Juan Pablo Montoya's #42 Target racecar has gotten a 'Red' makeover for the race. It will be emblazoned with the album cover for 'Red,' the highly anticipated new album from the six-time Grammy winner Swift.
Target's exclusive deluxe edition of 'Red' includes three bonus tracks and three remixes. The album releases on Monday (Oct. 22.)
Swift also has a string of high-profile television appearances planned for the album's street week. The singer has appearances scheduled on 'The Late Show With David Letterman' (Oct. 23), 'The View' (Oct. 24), 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' (Oct. 25), Katie Couric's new talk show (Oct. 26) and a Taylor Swift worldwide radio remote (Oct. 26), among other events.
