The Showdown: Olivia Lane vs. Hunter Hayes

Newcomer Olivia Lane's fans had a busy weekend. The "You Part 2" singer's faithful woke up early and stayed up late to make sure her song knocked the new song from Cam out of the ToC Showdown. Her next battle against an established hitmaker may prove to be more difficult.

Hunter Hayes' new song "21" is the first from an upcoming third studio album. The easy-to-sing pop-country tune is a party song at its core, but not in the style of the genre's wildest revelers. It's more innocent, like so many of this 23-year-old's best songs. Hayes' fans would be wise not to take this matchup for granted, as Lane's supporters have proven they'll fight.
