The Swon Brothers are riding high with their beautiful single, "Pray for You," and the sibling duo stopped by to chat with Taste of Country Nights host Sam Alex about both the song and the incredible video to match.

Zach and Colton Swon crept onto the country scene following a third place finish on The Voice in 2013. Their debut single, "Later On," became a hit that same year, but now they're offering country radio something a little different. "Pray for You" is a song with a beautiful and powerful message, and it was a no-brainer for them to record it.

“‘Pray for You,’ man, as soon as we heard it we knew we had to be a part of it,” Colton explains to Alex. “It’s just a song of hope and we related to a little thing called prayer that we still believe in."

The brothers may disagree on some things, but they definitely agree that the music video treatment for the tune couldn't be more perfect.

"It’s really crazy now because the video’s finally out ... and that like a lot of military families are actually relating to it. I can see why now it’s just — the video is really good and that’s mainly because we’re not in it," Colton says with a laugh.

“It puts a really good visual spin on what was already a great story song and relating to people, and I’m really pumped," Zach chimes in. "Even though it’s our song, I really like watching the video because it’s kind of like a mini movie. We’re proud of it.”

The video has already climbed into the top spot of the ToC Top 10 Video Countdown, and it's still up for votes, so it could do it again. Place your vote here.

Sam Alex is the host of Taste of Country Nights radio, a syndicated night show which airs on more than 60 Townsquare Media Group stations nationwide.
