Thomas Rhett’s Daughter Willa Gray Makes Stage Debut in Mississippi [Watch]
Thomas Rhett's 18-month-old daughter, Willa Gray, got her first taste of Daddy's job on Saturday night when the "Craving You" singer brought her on stage in Mississippi.
Video and photos show the toddler in Rhett's arms during his set at C Spire Live Day of Country. The singer offers her the microphone, but she pushes it back toward her father's mouth.
"She's shy," he says, still holding the little girl in big noise-canceling headphones.
Rhett and his wife Lauren brought Willa Gray home from Uganda earlier this month, and over the last two weeks they've shared countless photos on Twitter, Instagram and Instagram stories. Fans have gotten a firsthand look at the couple's raising of their first daughter, as well as Lauren's growing baby bump. She's due with another baby girl in August!

The journey to adopting Willa Gray was one they had to keep quiet, as privacy laws would have threatened the whole thing if details leaked. Lauren recently told People that she traveled to Uganda in April hoping to pick up her daughter, but it wasn't finalized before she had to return home. Instead, her parents brought the little girl to the U.S. last month.
Rhett also talked about how he knew he wanted to adopt. After his wife visited Uganda in April 2016, he was struck by a photo of Lauren holding the baby he now calls his daughter.
"Lauren had this amazing glow about her and it just felt like she was already our daughter in a weird way," he says. "'I just blurted out, 'We should bring her home.'"
