Thomas Rhett's impending fatherhood has him accepting parenting advice from many of his peers, including Dierks Bentley.

“Dierks said, ‘Don’t be afraid if you drink four Red Bulls a day.’ And I’ve watched Dierks drink a lot of Red Bulls,” Rhett admits. A soon-to-be first time parent to two, the "Craving You" singer knows there will be a major adjustment from being a couple to becoming a family of four.

“When you have two more humans that you’re responsible for, your life I think just changes," he reasons. "There’s nothing you can really do to get ready for it. You can read books and you can talk to me as much as you want but you’re going to be a different parent than I am just like I’m going to be a different parent than you are. So, I think the best advice is take it as it comes and just realize that you’re gonna be exhausted.”

Rhett and his wife have confirmed that the biological child they are expecting is a girl, and the couple have been getting ready for the big changes at home and on tour. They are simultaneously adopting a child from Africa.

“One thing I can’t wait for is to see what they’re interested in,” Rhett previously said. “Are they gonna like music, or are they gonna resent it because that’s my job? And one thing I’m terrified about is, I’m already so busy … how in the world am I gonna balance the career and kids? And I think the answer is, it’s impossible."
