Thomas Rhett's "Look What God Gave Her" is an upbeat, pop-friendly song that hails his woman, and women in general.

Too quick to be labeled a love song, too patient to be called a banger, "Look What God Gave Her" finds the mellow space in between familiar to Rhett's fans or even those who only know him through his radio singles. Long gone are the soulful arrangements and presentations that marked Tangled Up. With this song one moves to a less dynamic beat as the ACM Male Vocalist of the Year nominee compares women to angels.

It's easy to see this song as an extension of songs from Life Changes, even if the material isn't quite as soaked in personal details. Last November he told Taste of Country songs from the upcoming Center Point Road would indeed be personal — perhaps even more so. That well runs deep, it seems, or as a father of two young children he's become near-sighted.

Rhett will be hitting the road this summer on his 2019 Very Hot Summer Tour. His dad, singer-songwriter Rhett Akins, will join him on all dates, and Dustin Lynch and Russell Dickerson will join him for all but the first two dates in Washington. The tour begins in Spokane on May 17 and arrives in new cities on most weekends before becoming a more concentrated effort for the August and September stops.

Did You Know?: Center Point Road will be released on May 31.

Here's What to Know About Thomas Rhett's "Look What God Gave Her"

Thomas Rhett's "Look What God Gave Her Lyrics":

Don’t even want the attention / But yeah that’s all that she’s gettin’ / Her song is on and she’s spinning around / She got me drunk like Corona / Heart racing like it’s Daytona / Ooo, I’m in heaven I swear right now / And those eyes can hypnotize / Was designed to blow my mind.

Chorus:
Look what God gave her / How perfect he made her / She walks in the room it's like he answered my prayers / The way that she moves / How could anybody blame her / I know she's got haters / But it ain't her fault / No / Look what God gave her / Oh oh.

It’s like I heard angels singing / Like she came down from the ceiling / When she walked in here this evening, I thought / That girl one in seven billion / Got everyone in here feeling / Like there’s a fire in this building so hot / Got a smile on her angel face / I know I’ll never lose my faith.

Got that look, in her eyes / Swear she fell right out the sky / Yeah I think I’ve seen the light / Every kiss I could die / It’s like the heavens opened wide / Yeah I swear I’ve seen the light.
