Trace Adkins will return to Las Vegas to host the American Country Awards this December, and this time he's got help. Television and Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth has been announced as the 'Just Fishin'' singer's co-host for the December 5 show on Fox.

Last year's inaugural show featured performances from some of the biggest names in country music, including Rascal Flatts, Reba McEntire, Blake Shelton and Josh Turner. Adkins hosted the show, his first time hosting a major country awards show. The ACAs are decided by fan-vote, with unconventional categories such as best tour recognized.

It's been a busy week for Adkins. He's done many television shows including the 'Today' show on NBC and 'Fox and Friends' on the Fox News Channel to promote his new album, 'Proud to Be Here.' According to his website, next week he'll be on CNN's 'Piers Morgan Tonight,' and the E! Network's 'Chelsea Lately.'

Chenoweth is best know for her work as Glinda the good witch in the Broadway musical 'Wicked,' but has made a name for herself on television as well, most recently on 'Glee.' She won an Emmy award for her role as Olive Snook on Pushing Daisies. Next month the singer will release her debut country album, featuring her single 'I Want Somebody.'
