Waterloo Revival singer George Birge has welcomed his second child. Birge and his wife, Kara, welcomed a baby boy named Luke on Tuesday morning (May 28).

The singer turned to social media to share the joyful news, writing, "We got an amazing surprise this morning welcoming Luke Birge into the world! Momma Kara Lee Birge was the picture of grace in delivery and they are both resting happy and healthy now. Thank you God for this blessing!"

He shared a picture of himself, his wife and their newborn son alongside his message.

Birge announced his wife's pregnancy on Dec. 12, 2018 in an online post. "We've got a LOT to be thankful for this year," he wrote. "The lord blessed us with another baby coming 2019! Party of 4."

Luke joins his older brother, George James Birge, who celebrated his second birthday on Jan. 17.

"We started our little family today," Birge wrote on Facebook in 2017. "Welcome to the world George James Birge you made us the happiest people in the world today!"
