Zac Brown Band Makes History, Sells Out Fenway Park Again
Zac Brown Band has made history! The Georgia-based septet octet recently sold out legendary baseball stadium Fenway Park, not once, but twice!
Zac Brown and his bandmate buddies were supposed to just do one show at Fenway on June 27, but after that show sold out with record-speed, they added another one slated for June 28. And wouldn't you know it? That one sold out in a matter of minutes as well -- even before ZBB had time to announce any of the opening acts!
According to an official announcement on the band's website, this is a milestone that has been reached by only a few other iconic acts.
"With this incredible accomplishment, ZBB joins the ranks of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band, the Police and the Rolling Stones -- all of whom have notched two-night sellouts at the historic ballpark before supporting acts were announced as well!"
Earlier this week, the ZBB announced a lengthy summer tour. The Great American Road Trip Tour begins May 24 and runs through August 15.
