The Zac Brown Band will step aside temporarily so that its frontman can confront his No. 2 passion: hunting. Zac Brown has lined up to co-host a new hunting-driven television series called 'Fear No Evil' on the Outdoor Channel.

Brown will stand alongside legendary outdoorsman and network celebrity Chris Brackett as host of the new show, which is an Outdoor TV exclusive. "Chris is the man,” Brown says of his new co-captain. “His passion for hunting and die-hard commitment is what drew me to the show."

Brackett had similar praises for the 'Colder Weather' singer, who is nominated for five awards at the upcoming ACMs. "Zac has sold millions of records, plays to sold out arenas, has his own food products, leather and knife line and record label," Brackett says. "He does it all, including hunting -- from rifles to bows and everything in-between. He loves to hunt."

The show's director, filmmaker Darren Doane, echoed both Brown and Brackett's comments, adding that the pair are perfectly matched. "I've never seen anything like this show," Doane admits. "Chris and Zac are two sides of the same crazy coin. They have pushed me not to make a hunting show but a mini feature film every episode. And that’s what we have done."

'Fear No Evil' will premiere at 11:30PM ET on the Outdoor Channel on April 3, after the ACMs draw to a close on CBS.
