Garth Brooks will also be honored at the event with the Artist of the Decade Award. It's the first-ever presentation of an award that was created to reward outstanding achievements. Musgraves recently performed at the 2019 Grammy Awards, where she also took home all-genre Album of the Year prize, along with Best Country Solo Performance, Best Country Song and Best Country Album.
Also being honored at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards is the one-time-country Taylor Swift, who'll receive the Tour of the Year Award for her 2018 Reputation Tour. The run, in support of her latest pop album, sent Swift trekking across the globe. She even managed to break her own record for highest-grossing tour by a woman with more than 2 million tickets sold in the United States alone, as well as a new record for having the highest-selling U.S. tour in history, grossing $266 million.
The 2019 nominees for the iHeartRadio Music Awards were announced on Jan. 9. For country music, Florida Georgia Line are nominated in the general Best Collaboration category for their single "Meant to Be" with Bebe Rexha, and Maren Morris is nominated for Dance Song of the Year for "The Middle." Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs and Thomas Rhett are nominated for the Country Artist of the Year award.
