Aaron Watson has been knocking out the competitors left and right in the last few weeks of the Texas Red Dirt Rumble, but how will he fare against his predecessor Robert Earl Keen, who is a long lasting favorite on the Lone Star scene?

Watson’s latest single has been burning up the charts down in Texas, holding a pretty constant flame in the Top 5. Apparently, ‘Fast Cars Slow Kisses’ must relate to a lot of folks, as it describes a lonely girl and a lonely guy who come together via an online dating site to ignite a real life, old fashioned romance.

Keen's 'I Gotta Go,' on the other hand, is a song about being in a constant rush (something we can certainly relate to during the holiday season). The grizzly-voiced singer describes a feeling familiar to many -- feeling the itch to put feet to the pavement and get moving through an entire lifetime in a flash.

Are you a fan of Watson's less traditional matchmaking track, or do you prefer to step off the beaten path in a hurry like Mr. Keen? Listen to both of the artists' songs below and and decide which one should move on another week in the Rumble. Be sure to share the link with your friends so they can pick a favorite, too.

You’ve got until Midnight CT on Wednesday, Dec. 28 to pick your preference. After the winner of this week’s Rumble is chosen, a new match will start up, pitting the winner against a brand-new challenger.

Rules of the Rumble: The artist and song with the most votes wins, and winner goes on to face next week’s challenger. If an artist wins four weeks in a row, he or she will be retired into the Taste of Country Texas Red Dirt Rumble Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete.
