America will celebrate Independance Day with Brad Paisley this year. The 'Old Alabama' singer has been asked to join Beyonce at the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks entertainment special, airing at 9PM ET on NBC that night.

According to the Macy's website, this year's display will feature over 40,000 fireworks, synchronized to a 25-minute soundtrack that includes American standards and pop favorites. The theme is 'Gift of Freedom.'

Paisley has been a hot act since winning the CMA Entertainer of the Year award last November. He was asked to join in the festivities at the Daytona 500 in February, and more recently was one of the headliners at the CMA Music Festival in Nashville. His new single 'Remind Me' with Carrie Underwood is already a Top 20 hit, and is on its way to becoming his 22nd consecutive Top 5 smash.

Paisley's H2O II Tour continues through September, with opening acts Blake Shelton and Jerrod Niemann along for the fun. This year's Macy's 4th of July event is their 35th consecutive celebration, and it promises to pay tribute to the 125th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty. The fireworks will be set off over the Hudson River in New York.
