Brantley Gilbert is a father again, and the country star paused his live show Friday night (Oct. 11) to deliver his own baby.

Gilbert was performing in Tupelo, Miss., on Friday evening as part of his 2024 Off the Rails Tour when his wife, Amber, went into labor.

According to AntiMusic.com, Gilbert was four songs into his scheduled set when he left the stage to be with his wife for the birth of their third child.

A fan who was in attendance at the show says Gilbert was gone for an hour, and when he returned, he told the audience that he had helped his wife deliver their baby on his tour bus.

A fan-shot video caught the emotional moment when Gilbert told his fans, "We got a baby in Mississippi!"

Gilbert detailed the birth of his newborn son in a post to social media, writing, "So last night might have been the craziest night of my life. Watching such an amazing woman do such an amazing thing is something I’ll never forget. Thank you to our road family for rallying around us, Brittany Thornton for helping us bring this little dude into the world, Tupelo, Mississippi for showing us mad love and support, and most of all… Amber Gilbert, for letting me love you and showing me EXACTLY how incredibly strong a woman can be. I love you."

Gilbert and Amber married in June of 2015, and they have two other kids.
