No sleep? No problem for Carrie Underwood. If you thought the singer and 2019 CMA Awards Entertainer of the Year nominee had "people" to do the hard parts of raising an 8-month-old, you'd be right and wrong.

Underwood does have people (a nanny, assistant and her husband Mike Fisher all travel on the Cry Pretty Tour 360, per a new interview in the Tennessean), but she doesn't want baby Jacob growing up without baked-in memories of his mother being the one to feed him. That means after her concert wraps at 11PM and she winds down and gets to bed after midnight, she still wakes up for the 3AM feeding.

“It makes me respect those women that I grew up idolizing even more," she tells the newspaper, "and I didn’t even know all that they had on their plate."

On Friday night (Sept. 27), Underwood's tour stops in Nashville, so she can stay at home in her own bed instead of in a rental like she's been doing while touring this year. Jacob, Mike and the couple's 4-year-old son, Isaiah, all go sight-seeing when they're in a new city, and sometimes Isaiah goes to the show with his mom. Finding balance as a singer, songwriter, mother, wife, entrepreneur and role model is "really difficult," she admits.

“I feel like there’s a lot of women who feel like they have to give up (having a family) to follow their dreams, and hopefully they can see that you can juggle," Underwood says.

"You can have it all. We are living the dream.”

The Cry Pretty Tour 360 with Runaway June and Maddie & Tae runs through Halloween in Detroit. Underwood's song "Southbound" is currently inside the Top 5 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. The Cry Pretty album is also up for Album of the Year at the CMA Awards on Nov. 13.
