Carrie Underwood put another memorable Country Music Association Awards on the books Wednesday night (Nov. 14) when she picked up her fifth win for Female Vocalist of the Year—a tear-filled moment following a period of personal struggle, including a debilitating accident and a series of miscarriages prior to getting pregnant with her second child.

Underwood sought to further express her feelings in an Instagram post the day after the awards (Nov. 15), in which she stated, "Last night was a dream...one I’m still doing my best to not wake up from. Today (and every day) I am thankful for all those in my world who make this life happen! Thank you, fans, for the constant support and encouragement. YOU give all of us these amazing opportunities to do what we love. I hope I made you proud last night!"

She also added a cute photo to the post (swipe right), which showed firstborn son Isaiah holding out a little hand to the screen while she performed on the awards show telecast. She noted that the picture was "was just too cute not to share," which fans seemed to agree with.

Underwood had a banner night aside from her big win: She and her longtime cohort Brad Paisley co-hosted the show for the 11th time running, and used their famous comedic opening monologue to announce that she's expecting another baby boy. Underwood also brought a lovely rendition of her anthemic new single "Love Wins" to the stage.
