Country Babies Born in 2012: Tug Ryder Fortney
Carter's Chord singer Emily Robertson and Marc 'Butter' Fortney (formerly of Trailer Choir) had their first kid in October 2012. Tug Ryder Fortney came into the world at 7 lbs., 20 in. “I’m a pretty big dreamer and wide thinker, and it exceeded anything I could be ready for,” Fortney told Taste of Country. “It’s something sweeter than I ever thought it could be and feel like.” The boy isn't named after anyone in particular, the couple just liked the name Tug.
