Prepare to turn up the sexy! Chris Lane released his debut EP Fix on Friday (Nov. 13), and if these songs don't get you moving somehow, some way ... well, we're not even going to go there.

"It is so different, and I’ve worked so hard," Lane says of his 6-song project. "It feels so good to get music out there."

From the super catchy title track "Fix" to the romantic Backstreet Boys-like "For Her" to the feel-good party smash "Saturday Night," the newcomer is pleased with what he's giving fans.

"I just love the way it all came together," the North Carolina-native says.

Regarding the first track "Fix," Lane shares, "I have always been attracted to songs that make me want to dance. I think fans are really going to love this one."

The singer's new sound has been compared to that of superstars Justin Timberlake, Nick Jonas, and Maroon 5's frontman Adam Levine. "I’m a huge fan of all of those guys," the 31-year-old admits, "I love that when people say it."

What do these men have in common besides their good looks and the ability to make women of all ages swoon? Their prominent falsetto.

“It’s not easy to stand out as a young artist," Lane recognizes. "I feel like the falsetto is my niche and my sound and something different." He hopes it will help separate him from what other artists are doing in the country genre (We're pretty sure fans wouldn't mind a countrified version of Levine).

The singer is also hopeful releasing his Fix EP to the masses will score him some points with female fans. Or in his words: "I’m hoping these songs will help me have a little better game."

Lane is Big Loud Records' flagship artist, while he says it is a bit intimidating to be the first one signed to a new label, it's very exciting, as well. "I think any artist would love to have just sole focus on them at this point. And that only helps me. There’s something great about having all the attention and focus. I mean, you can’t beat that."

After topping several 'Artists to Watch' lists this year — including Taste of Country's — and landing as a Top 5 finalist in Macy's iHeartRadio Rising Star Contest, Lane is ready to prove to the music world what he's made of.

"I never thought something like that could happen," he shares. "The fact that anybody is saying anything like that about me, I’ll take it."

With the release of his new music, the singer is off to a good start with positive media feedback and several celebrity shoutouts, including Florida Georgia Line, Brett Eldredge, Cole Swindell and tourmate Dustin Lynch to name a few. Lane is opening up for Lynch on his Hell of a Night Tour, which kicks off this weekend in Richmond, Virginia.

"Dustin’s been great to me and he is a good friend. I can’t be anymore pumped to be going out on this tour," Lane says. "It’s going to be fun."

Fix is available for download now.
