Chris Young's follow-up to his latest chart-topping hit, 'Tomorrow,' is a slow and sexy song, simply titled 'You.' Young co-wrote the lyrics with hit songwriter Luke Laird.

"This is the only song he and I have written together," Laird tells Taste of Country of penning the lyrics with Young. "Our publishers booked that co-write. He came over to my studio on Music Row one day. That was the first time we met, too. He came in, and I was working on this groove. He liked it. As we were talking he had this really cool melody he shared. He was like man I think it would be cool to write a song called 'You.' I figured if he thinks it's cool, it will be cool [laughs]!"

"No one gets me like / You when you kiss me / Girl you rock me harder than some downtown band / I thought I knew what love was / But I didn’t have a clue / I never found anything that makes me feel like I do about you," Young and Laird wrote in the chorus lyrics.

"I didn’t know if he was actually going to end up recording it or not," Laird recalls. "Then I got the call, and I was really excited. I went to college at MTSU down in Murfreesboro, Tenn. That's where Chris is from, and I remember always seeing that he was playing shows down there. I had always heard of him, and once he got his record deal, it was cool to finally write with him!"
