Pictures: Beards Were the New Black at the 2017 CMA Awards
Chris Stapleton has been a consistent CMA Awards winner since 2015, and it must be the beard. Because, now everyone in country music is trying to replicate his look!
Well, at least all the men are giving it a shot, and it might just be working.
Is it purely coincidence that Brothers Osborne won two CMA Awards during their first CMAs as a doubly bearded, brotherly duo? John Osborne has always subscribed to face fur, but TJ's new look may be the reason the picked up both Music Video of the Year and Vocal Duo of the Year.
Chicks -- and CMA voters, it seems -- love facial hair!
Dierks Bentley's beard is quickly filling in to mountain-man status. The same can be said of Kip Moore and Garth Brooks, who are both sporting new furry looks.
Speaking of Brooks, we actually have the exclusive on why the Entertainer of the Year (it's the beard, seriously!) won't shave.
There's not much more to say about this crazy new trend in country music. Who's next? If Blake Shelton or Jason Aldean want to ever be nominated again, maybe they need to grow beards.
