The event will benefit the Country Rising Fund of the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, which was established to aid charitable organizations that are helping the victims of the hurricanes. "In the course of rebuilding lives disrupted by these devastating storms, there are immediate needs and there also will be long-term needs. This fund will strategically support both as they emerge," the Foundation is described in a press release.

Tickets and VIP packages for Country Rising go on sale Friday (Oct. 6) at 10AM CT. The event takes over Bridgestone Arena on Nov. 12.

The country music community has gone above and beyond in the wake of the devastating August and September hurricanes, to say the least, with countless stars contributing to relief efforts. In addition to setting up the Love for Love City Foundation to help rebuild the Virgin Islands, Kenny Chesney also helped two brothers reunite with their mother after they were separated during the storm. Strait and Stapleton also took part in the Hand in Hand benefit show, recording their portion from the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio alongside Miranda Lambert. Chris Young has also stepped up, generating a GoFundMe page to help raise money for the Red Cross.
