'Dallas' Star's Spectacular Oregon Estate Sells at Auction

Dallas star Patrick Duffy's gorgeous Oregon ranch has sold at auction, and pictures show an unspoiled property that's like a slice of paradise.

Duffy and his wife and family owned the spectacular property outside of Medford, Ore., for more than three decades. The actor listed the rural estate for $14 million in early 2023, then dropped his asking price to $11 million before putting the property up for auction in December.

According to online property websites, Duffy's ranch sold at auction for $5.75 million in a deal that closed on Jan. 5, 2024. That price breaks down to $1,226 per square foot. According to the Realtor.com, the buyer will also pay a 12 percent premium that brings the total to $6.44 million, though that price is not reflected in the selling price reported online.

The property comprised 9 separate parcels, including two separate homes and two guest cabins. The main house is a 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom, 4,690-square-foot lodge-style home on 79 riverfront acres that boasts amenities including an art gallery, a walkway to a spa cabin and wine cave, a pool house, a large garden, 100 acres of irrigated ground and a 2-acre recreation/irrigation pond.

Duffy played Bobby Ewing on the iconic drama Dallas during the show's run from 1978-1991, and reprised the role in a 2012 reboot of the show. His wife of more than 40 years, ballet dancer Carlyn Rosser, died in 2017 after battling cancer, and in 2020, Duffy began an unexpected new relationship with Linda Purl, who played Richie Cunningham's girlfriend Gloria on Happy Days in a small appearance in 1974, then returned to the show from 1982-1983 in the featured role of Fonzie's girlfriend, Ashley Pfister.

Legendary Dallas star Linda Gray is selling her spectacular rural California estate for just under $3 million, and pictures show a private paradise that's perfect for anyone who wants to get away from the urban grind.

Gray's 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom, 4,800-square-foot custom-built home in the canyons outside of Los Angeles sits on just under three acres of prime rural California ranch land. The gated, ultra-private property is a private horse ranch with stables for four horses, as well as a tack room and barn. There's also a private tennis court; a swimmer's pool with spa, organic gardens, a koi pond, a chicken coop and lush landscaping to complete the exterior of the estate.

The midcentury modern main residence was designed by A. Quincy Jones, who incorporated outdoor elements including exposed rocks, wood and stones into a chic modern look for a truly one-of-a-kind home. The property also includes a two-story guest house.
