Dan + Shay have been sharing covers of some of the biggest songs in country music with fans on their YouTube page. Earlier this week, the duo uploaded a clip of them singing Luke Bryan's poignant ballad, "Drink a Beer."

The brief clip includes Dan + Shay singing the chorus of the song together with spot-on harmonies as Dan Smyers strums along.

Dan + Shay are no strangers to cover songs. The two have previously covered David Nail's "Let It Rain" and Rascal Flatts' "My Wish" for fans to hear. Always in tune with what their fans want, the guys even titled their sophomore album Obsessed thanks to the inspiration of their fans.

Upon the release of the album’s lead single, “From the Ground Up,” fans kept using the hashtag #obsessed to describe the song. So, Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney decided Obsessed was the perfect title.

“We want to stay true to what got us here in the first place, and not alienate our fans and the sound that we created on the first album,” Smyers tells Taste of Country. “We owe it to our fans. We put out 12 songs on Where It All Began and we owe it to our fans to deliver and step it up and beat every single one of those songs for the rest of our career.”

Mooney thinks the album is "a next step" for the duo.

“We’re really excited about the direction. We feel like it was the best representation of Dan + Shay, the next step. We’re not alienating our fans that fell in love with the first record, but it is definitely a step forward,” he adds.
