The most recent Showdown demonstrates why Danielle Bradbery has some of the most passionate fans of any artist in country music. Canaan Smith put up a fight, but his faithful were overwhelmed by Bradbery's massive voting block, and she'll face a new challenge from Brad Paisley today and over the weekend.

Bradbery co-wrote her new single, "Friend Zone," which displays a newfound sass on the part of the young rising star. The pop-country track has so far generated massive support from her fans.

Paisley returns to his southern comfort zone with "Country Nation," a mid-tempo, plenty likable track that's reminiscent of the type of material that helped this star build his radio success. With its references to 18 different college football teams, this is a song that should find widespread support for one of the most established hitmakers of the past several decades — but even Paisley may find it hard to get past voters as motivated as Bradbery's.

Listen to clips of both Bradbery and Paisley's songs and vote for your favorite here. You can vote once every hour until this Showdown ends on Wednesday at 8AM ET, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. The winner of this matchup will face a new challenger on Wednesday.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
