Danielle Bradbery Drops Powerful ‘Worth It’ Video
Danielle Bradbery has just a few weeks before the Dec. 1 release of her eagerly anticipated sophomore album I Don’t Believe We’ve Met, and she continues to tease fans with tastes of the new record. On Friday (Nov. 10), she released the video for "Worth It," which shows off yet another powerful side of the singer's psyche.
"Don't tell me I'm too hard to please / That you're worn down from fighting for me / A real man knows what he's signing up for / And if you don't then I'll show myself the door," the 21-year-old vocalist sings against a striking, melancholy backdrop of purple, red, and blue lighting. She adds, "I ain't afraid to walk away if you can't see it."
The song itself is particular poignant in these times when female empowerment is getting a front seat in the news. "I get a lot of dads come up to me and say 'I really appreciate you singing this and having a song like this because I want my daughter to be inspired by it.' And that touches me so much because I'm like 'that's exactly what I wanted,'" Bradbery told Taste of Country in October.
Bradbery, who won Season Four of The Voice in 2013, wrote with a variety of talent for her latest release, including hitmaker Thomas Rhett on the track "What Are We Doing."
