Daryle Singletary's third child won't be here until November, but at least he now knows what color to start painting the nursery. Last week, the singer and his wife Holly found out during a visit to the doctor that the newest Singletary will be a little girl.

"I can't wait to have 'Daddy's little girl!'" Singletary tells Taste of Country exclusively. "Obviously I'm excited because it's a little girl, and that's what we've wanted, but I want a healthy little girl at the same time. We're just grinning from ear to ear!"

The Singletarys were hoping all along for a little girl, as they have twin boys already. Mercer Ellis and Jonah Michael will turn 2 on Oct. 27, just seven days before their new baby's due date.

The addition to their growing family isn't the only project Singletary has in the works. The 'Too Much Fun' and 'I Let Her Lie' singer recently inked a new record deal with Red Dirt Music. He has been hard at work writing for the new album with some of his favorite songwriting pals, including the LoCash Cowboys, Wynn Varble and Roger Springer, among others. Singletary's new music is slated for release some time later this year -- maybe around the time of his daughter's birth!

Congrats to Daryle and Holly, as well as Mercer and Jonah, who will now have a sweet little sister to protect in the years to come.
