Filmore has just released a video for a new song called "Unreal," and the unique clip shows the full range of his talents.

The black-and-white and color video initially gives a retro feel visually, but the music is mostly contemporary on "Unreal," featuring some electronic beats and vibe-y keys to begin the song and progressing into a very appealing pop melody as he begins to sing.

The track mingles that contemporary approach with some more traditional instruments to achieve a hip vibe, and the video alternates shots of Filmore singing while seated on a bed with shots of the singer-songwriter outdoors, chopping firewood to get ready for a romantic evening he is planning for his lady.

"I wanna make you feel unreal," he sings in the tag line of the chorus, and that's exactly what he's plotting throughout the clip, setting up a candlelit dinner on the veranda and leaving clues pointing the way for his love. The video builds to a satisfying sense of anticipation after all of his hard work, and you can only imagine they must have had a wonderful night.

Filmore was raised in Wildwood, Mo., and his music reflects a blend of traditional country and pop influences. He released an EP titled Proof in May of 2016, which landed on the Spotify US viral top 50 chart. He signed wth Creative Artists Agency and has subsequently toured with Chase Rice, Michael Ray, Sam Hunt and more. He is currently headlining shows across the country.

His upcoming dates include a special set at Townsquare HQ at 310 E. 3rd St in Austin, Texas, at 4PM on March 17. Walker Hayes will perform afterward during the special Taste of Country showcase, which will also feature an outdoor Mike’s Hard Watermelon Patio, food trucks and a full bar that will include complimentary bottles of Mike’s Hard Watermelon Lemonade.
