Garth Brooks Teases Vinyl Release He Says Is Unlike Any Previous Vinyl Release
Garth Brooks packed his 2018 to the brim, and next year will be just as busy. In fact, in a new episode of his Facebook video chat, Inside Studio G, Brooks reveals that he has an upcoming project that is scheduled to come out on vinyl next year.
"You guys have been telling me for a hundred years vinyl, but try to knock out everything you think vinyl is," he says. "It's coming in a way I have never seen before. It's so frickin' cool. It’s gonna be a lot of fun. We’ll take care of everybody, too."
And while the megastar restrained himself — he didn't spill the details of what, exactly, will be coming out of vinyl — there are whispers that it might be a release of his full catalog.

Brooks also took the time on his last Inside Studio G of the year to give a shoutout to wife Trisha Yearwood, who will release her new project Let’s Be Frank on Thursday (Dec. 20). Brooks' CBS Notre Dame special, taped earlier this year, will be re-airing in the weeks ahead.
"I'm very excited to watch it again," he admits. "The great thing about stuff like this is the faces and there are so many people there, there is no way you can remember them all or see them all so I'm looking forward to going back again and doing it again."
The Notre Dame show was the first taste of Brooks' years-long stadium tour that launches in 2019. In between shows, he says he hopes to cut a live duets album with Yearwood — a project that has been a very long time coming.
