Gretchen Wilson's holiday album 'Christmas in My Heart' will be 'right on time' for this holiday season.

The release will feature ten tracks, including a merry mix of traditional carols, holiday favorites and a few future classics. Not only will Wilson's voice be showcased on the tracks, the songstress also produced the new album -- an exciting accomplishment for the 40-year-old.

“This is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time,” Wilson shares. “We really took our time and came up with a fun mix of classic songs and found some great new songs to record.”

The title track kicks off the album, but fans shouldn't think it's a record full of sentimental holiday songs -- there are several original songs that are a bit sassy, such as 'Santa, I've Been Naughty' and 'If You See Rudolph.'

Wilson's Christmas album is also family-friendly, with a little something for adults, as well as a few fun songs that kids will love. She sings her versions of 'I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas,' 'Have a Holly Jolly Christmas,' and 'Nuttin’ for Christmas,' along with classic Christmas carols like 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,' 'Blue Christmas,' 'The Christmas Song' and 'Silent Night.'

Be sure to snatch up a copy and begin your Christmas shopping a little early. 'Christmas in My Heart' will be available come Oct. 8.
