Jake Owen Gets Help From Ryan Hurd in Hilarious ‘Seafoam Green’ Video [Watch]
Jake Owen is at it again. The country singer dropped a new song and hilarious video on Thursday (Jan. 12) called "Seafoam Green," in collaboration with up and coming stars Ryan Hurd and Austin and Colin.
"Somebody once asked me what my favorite color was," Owen writes in a Facebook post premiering the video. "This was my response."
What follows is a humorous video where Owen proclaims his love for seafoam green in a catchy, R&B and rap-infused song that includes silly lyrics like, "What's your favorite color baby / Seafoam green / CeeLo Green? / No, seafoam green / No matter where I go / No matter where I'm seen / I can guarantee I'm always rocking seafoam green."

Decked out head to toe in Owen's favorite color -- literally -- the guys are all wearing seafoam green onesies as they drive around in Owen's seafoam green VW van, the same one that appears on the cover of his chart-topping 2016 album, American Love. Hurd's verse is actually dedicated to this very van, rapping about its characteristics in his beanie and onesie. Owen's other good buddy, Chase Rice, shows up near the end of the video to dump buckets of paint on his friend.
"Seafoam Green" serves as the follow-up to Owen's other goofy video, the holiday-themed "Christmas Spirits," featuring his pals from the country group Parmalee. This time donning ugly Christmas sweaters, the guys get into a host of "spirits" at a wacky Christmas house party.
When he's not making hilarious music videos with his friends, Owen is promoting his current single off American Love, "If He Ain't Gonna Love You," a collaboration with Chris Stapleton. He'll also hit the road for various shows throughout 2017.
