Jordan Rager has just released a new single, and he is giving fans a very special acoustic performance of it in this Taste of Country exclusive.

"One of the Good Ones" is Rager's first new single since departing Broken Bow Records, and it finds him singing about some of the once-in-a-lifetime pleasures that he experienced when he was growing up in Loganville, Ga., including his first car, his old hunting dog and an early love that he let get away that was "one of the good ones."

"Once in a lifetime / Got you lookin' back like / Damn right / Wishin' like hell you'd have held on tight / When you realize / You were holdin' on to somethin' that was second to none / Talkin' one of the good ones / One of the good ones," he sings in the chorus.

Rager delivers the song with no frills in the performance video above, accompanying himself on acoustic guitar. Though he did not write it, Rager tells us that "One of the Good Ones" holds a special place in his heart.

“I’ve loved this song since the very first time I heard it," he says. "I relate to every lyric just like I wrote it myself and I’m so glad I get to be the one to sing it every night."

Rager is best known for his duet with fellow Georgia native Jason Aldean on "Southern Boy." He's already had more than 1.1 million Spotify streams on "One of the Good Ones," which is currently available for streaming and download across all digital platforms.
