Move over Stoney LaRue, there's a new No. 1 in town! Josh Abbott Band, featuring legendary icon Pat Green, waltz into the leading spot on the Texas music chart this week with 'My Texas,' taking the crown from LaRue's 'Velvet.'

It's not surprising that a song which sings the praises of the great Lone Star State would take over the Texas charts, only shocking that it took this long. Abbott is no stranger to hit singles, as his song 'Oh, Tonight' with Kacey Musgraves was a hit on the air and in video form, but with his latest being touched by the hand of Pat Green, it was inevitable that it would take the coveted top spot on the chart.

Luckily, Jason Cassidy, Brandon Rhyder and Reckless Kelly were able to hold onto their No. 3, 4 and 5 spots, while Robert Earl Keen slid down a notch this week. The worst fall, however, was Eli Young Band's 'Crazy Girl,' which was knocked down to No. 10 by Max Stalling's new one, which is in the No. 7 role. That's no big deal to the EYB foursome, though, being that they've been stuck like glue to the Top 10 since Kevin Fowler's 'Hell Yeah, I Like Beer' slid out of its front-running spot and became a distant memory.
