Julie Roberts is doing her part in helping spread the Christmas joy this holiday season with the release of her brand-new Christmas EP, 'Who Needs Mistletoe.'

The compilation is filled with Christmas classics, which brings Roberts back to her youth and what Christmas was like in her household.

"This music is so special to me because I absolutely love Christmas," says Roberts in a release about the EP. "Each song I have picked for this project is one I remember from my childhood. Mama always turned on Christmas music as we decorated our tree, wrapped gifts and while she baked Christmas cookies and candies. That's one of my favorite Christmas memories!"

The album's title track, 'Who Needs Mistletoe,' is the only original tune on the seven-track EP, and it is a song Roberts co-wrote along with the album's producer, Jason Collum. Roberts also serves as co-producer of the new project.

'Who Needs Mistletoe' is the second album release done independently from Roberts, who had a run on Mercury Records in the early 2000s with hits such as 'Break Down Here,' 'The Chance,' 'Wake Up Older' and 'Men and Mascara.' Earlier this summer, Roberts released 'Alive,' her first full-length album in five years. Both 'Alive' and 'Who Needs Mistletoe' are available for purchase now by visiting Roberts' official website by clicking here.
