Justin Moore Explains Why He Moved Back to Arkansas [Watch]
Justin Moore is out on the road and opening up about why he loves living in his hometown in Arkansas!
The 'Lettin' the Night Roll' singer talked with Taste of Country's Sam Alex at the Country Radio Seminar. He dished on life in Poyen, Ark., among other things. The Arkansas native says he loved living in Nashville, but was really happy to get back to his hometown and build a life with his family.
"It's so peaceful, man. That's why we moved back there," says the sizzling star who's been married to his wife, Kate, for over seven years. "Nashville was really good to me, I lived here for almost 10 years. It was awesome and I spend a fair amount of time here now, but it was good for me to get back home and be around my family, most importantly ... I love the simplistic nature of where I grew up."
Moore's home state has been a focal part of his life ... and his music career. Back in September, he talked about how Poyen influenced his newest album 'Off the Beaten Path,' and the video for ''Til My Last Day' features shots of Moore and his family that look like they were filmed at his home and in the parking lot of a University of Arkansas football game.
It sure is a good thing that Moore is living close to his parents, as he mentions in the interview. With two daughters, Kennedy Faye and Ella Kole, and a third on the way in July, we're sure the country crooner and his wife can use all the help they can get ... especially while Moore is headlining his Off the Beaten Path tour with Randy Houser and Josh Thompson this spring.
