Kane Brown Lights Up Late Night With Two ‘Kimmel’ Performances [Watch]
While Kane Brown somehow didn't get any CMA Awards nominations this year, he did earn a prime spot on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday (Nov. 14) and delighted fans with not one, but two performances.
First up was a performance of "Lose It," a song that is already a Top 5 gold-certified smash. He followed it up with a performance of "Good as You." Both songs are from Brown’s new album, Experiment, which came out Nov. 9.

Brown's appearance on Kimmel aired shortly after the conclusion of the 2018 CMA Awards, which featured big wins by Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and Chris Stapleton. Brown's snub by CMA voters is unfortunate, but he and new wife Katelyn Jae still rocked the CMAs red carpet, and Brown also stuck around to present an award.
The country music hitmaker had already been plenty busy for CMA week. Not only did he perform on The Voice on Tuesday (Nov. 13), but he also received a number of industry awards throughout the jam-packed week, including SESAC’s Country Song of the Year for "Heaven" and one of ASCAP’s Top 5 Country Songs of the year for "What Ifs" with Lauren Alaina.
If that wasn’t enough, just weeks ago, Brown came home from the American Music Awards with three big wins: Favorite Male Artist – Country, Favorite Album – Country for his platinum-certified multi-week No. 1 self-titled debut release, and Favorite Song – Country for the double-platinum multi-week No. 1 smash “Heaven.” He made history that night when he became the country star with the most award wins in a single night for a first-time nominee, and he was the most-nominated artist in this year's AMAs Country categories.
Next up for Brown is a performance at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade next Thursday (Nov. 22).
