Lady Antebellum Debut New Single ‘Wanted You More’ During ‘The Voice’ Finale
Lady Antebellum took the Hollywood stage on 'The Voice' Tuesday night, and left to a standing ovation from the live studio audience after singing their new single 'Wanted You More.' The power-ballad featured Hillary Scott and Charles Kelley dramatically pleading with each other in a way their loyal fans have become familiar with.
The fourth single from 'Own the Night' began with both singers on a separate catwalk and guitarist Dave Haywood on stage between them, holding a cherry red and white acoustic. Kelley wore a maroon sport coat and his uniform black t-shirt. Scott wore a jeweled black top and long black skirt as she worked through the emotional heartbreaker.
Midway through the song Kelley and Scott came together, building drama to the very end. Finally after the last notes faded away the two broke character and soaked in the applause, which included a fine reception from all four coaches. 'Wanted You More' is the follow-up to the Top 5 single 'Dancin' Away With My Heart.' The trio resumes the Own the Night tour on Thursday in Jacksonville, Fla.
