Lauren Alaina is one of country music's fastest rising female artists, and now the sassy Southerner has finally tattooed her name to a No. 1 single.

Written by Alaina, Jesse Frasure and pop sensation Meghan Trainor, the pop-country smash "Road Less Traveled" earned Alaina No. 1 credits on both Billboard and Mediabase country airplay charts.

“I cannot believe I have the number one song in the country,” Alaina says in a press release. “I have dreamed of this day my entire life. The five singles, the ups and downs, the tears, the smiles and the six years of hard work have made this moment so much sweeter. I am so thankful to everyone who helped me get to this point. Regardless of my future, I get to live the rest of my life saying I have written a number one song. Life made.”

Lyrically, “Road Less Traveled" delivers an empowering message of self-acceptance, which is also a common theme in many of Trainor's songs: "Why do you keep on staring? / That mirror, mirror, it ain't fair at all / Dress sizes can't define, don't let the world decide what's beautiful."

Recently, Alaina completed the CMT Next Women of Country Tour with Martina McBride and joins select dates with country superstar Luke Bryan this summer.
