If you've ever wondered what it's like to kiss a bottle-nosed dolphin, just ask 18-year-old country singer Lauren Alaina, who recently headed down to Orlando, Fla. for the grand opening of 'Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin,' the amusement part's newest exhibit. Not only did she perform but she also got up close and personal with a very lucky dolphin.

Alaina, the Season 10 runner-up of 'American Idol,' was all smiles when she visited SeaWorld. Not only did she get to hold adorable penguins in the state-of-the-art habitat, experience the family adventure ride and swim with sea creatures, she also got to do what she does best: perform.

The spunky songstress is a major part of the new SeaWorld attraction, since she recorded the theme song, as well as a remix titled ‘Antarctica: One World, One Family.’ Her sweet personality and excitement about the exhibit is the perfect fit for a family-centered park.

Alaina smooched the dolphin at Discovery Cove, an all-inclusive day resort where guests can swim with dolphins, snorkel among fish and rays and relax on gorgeous, sandy beaches. Sounds pretty magical -- sort of like a whole new (sea) world!

The fast-rising star continues in leaps and bounds toward a successful career. Her sophomore album will come out this fall, with 'Barefoot and Buckwild' revealed as her first single. Now, after graduating from high school, Alaina is ready to make even more waves in the music industry.
