Little Big Town Extend Ryman Auditorium Residency
Due to high demand, Little Big Town are extending their 2017 residency at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium.
It's been announced that the group's upcoming string of shows, Little Big Town at the Mother Church, now includes additional dates on July 28-29 and Nov. 27. Another batch of dates is set to be released later in the year, joining previously announced shows on Feb. 24-25, May 19-20 and Sept. 15-16.
The group will invite a different music act from across all genres to perform with them each night, with up and coming singer-songwriter Brent Cobb and Ashley Monroe serving as openers on Feb. 24 and 25, respectively. Tickets and special packages for the new dates go on sale Friday (Feb. 10) at 11AM ET via Ticketmaster and the official Ryman site.
“It’s going to be a great privilege and honor," singer Karen Fairchild said during the announcement of the residency at the Ryman. "We’re very humbled to get to look at all those folks who have inspired us and also to introduce you to new folks that we think will change the course of country music.”
Little Big Town Make the Best Songs of the Century List
The opening night of the residency on Feb. 24 is also the launch date for the band's new album, The Breaker, featuring 12 new tracks, including their current single, "Better Man," written by Taylor Swift, which topped Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart after its late 2016 release.
The Grammy Award-winning group will perform at the 2017 Grammys on Feb. 12, and they'll join in a tribute to the Bee Gees that also includes Keith Urban, which is set to air on Feb. 14.
