Fresh off back-to-back wins, the members of Little Big Town took the stage at the 2015 CMA Awards in Nashville on Wednesday night (Nov. 4) to perform their smash hit single, "Girl Crush."

The song overcame some initial controversy to become the biggest hit of the vocal foursome's career, shattering decades-old records for the largest number of weeks spent at No. 1 in the history of country radio.

"Girl Crush" already took home Song of the Year — which went to songwriters Liz Rose, Lori McKenna and Hillary Lindsey — and Single of the Year earlier in the evening, and the group celebrated their wins by turning in one of the strongest performances of the evening, with singer Karen Fairchild turning in a smoky, understated vocal performance that really brought the song's lyrics home, while her bandmates joined in with the inimitable vocal blend that has made them one of the premier vocal groups in country music today.

The song is from the group's most recent album, Pain Killer, which has taken their career to an entirely new level. Little Big Town were nominated for a total of five awards on Wednesday night, including Vocal Group of the Year.
