Little Big Town picked up Single of the Year at the 2012 CMAs for their smash hit 'Pontoon.'

Lisa Marie Presley, who has roots in the genre given her famous father, presented the award looking beautiful in a black dress and amber, wavy hair. It was the first award of the night, and it was a biggie. Why not start off the doling out of accolades with a bang, in terms of both the award and the presenter?

In a category populated by a bunch of male solo artists, with Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley and Eric Church also nominated, LBT pulled out the surprising win. But they deserved it, since the crazy catchy, summery jam is the biggest song of their career.

Presely said "Oh God" when she opened the envelope, and then had a pregnant pause before announcing Little Big Town as the winner for 'Pontoon.' Not sure what that was about, but…

...Upon taking the stage, the ladies of LBT joked about host Brad Paisley's opening monologue, where he talked about what motorboatin' is -- look it up, this is a PG site -- and how he effectively told their mamas, who are watching at home, what it meant. Ya learn something knew every day, right?

LBT then proceeded to throw "Thank yous" to their team of people and to country radio. Single of the Year - a win well-deserved!
