The New Year brought a new baby to the Little Big Town family. Kimberly Schlapman and her husband, Stephen, have welcomed a bundle of joy to their household.

The couple adopted a baby girl through a "domestic adoption," Little Big Town's management team tells Taste of Country, adding that no other details can be shared at this time. This family of three is now a family of four with previous daughter, Daisy, becoming a big sister. Schlapman revealed the exciting news Thursday morning (Jan. 12) on her personal Instagram page with a photo of her expanding family.

"The New Year brought our family new love. We're so excited to introduce you to Daisy's little sister, Dolly Grace," she writes.

Schlapman has been outspoken of her love of motherhood. The singer previously gushed about her No. 1 job of being a mom to her label, Capitol Nashville.

"When I was a kid, that’s what I wanted to be is a mama," she said. "It took a long time. I wasn’t ever sure that I would be, but I am now, and it’s the greatest gift of my life. And as I’m a mother now, I see what my mother gave up and her sacrifices and her love and how she made us the most important thing in her life, and that’s what I strive to do for my little girl. It’s the most important job I have, and it’s the most responsibility that I have, and I try to live up to a great example that I had for my mother.”

Oldest daughter Daisy was born in July 2009. Other kids in the LBT family include Karen Fairchild and Jimi Westbrook's 6-year-old son Elijah and Phillip Sweet's 8-year-old daughter Penelopi.

The CMA Vocal Group of the Year winners are preparing to release their new The Breaker album on Feb. 24. Their current single is "Better Man," written by Taylor Swift.
