Loretta Lynn has been added to the all-star lineup of the upcoming CMA Country Christmas program, marking the country legend's first appearance at the annual event.

Lynn released a new Christmas album, White Christmas Blue, on Oct. 7. The album's title song is her current single, which she co-wrote with Grammy winner Shawn Camp, and while a press release did not give details of Lynn's appearance, it seems likely that she might share songs from the new album during the special.

The taping takes place at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on Nov. 8, and the yearly CMA Country Christmas television broadcast will air on Nov. 28 on ABC. Jennifer Nettles returns to host the event for the seventh time in 2016.

The appearance marks Lynn's first major public performance since she was injured in a fall over Labor Day weekend, which required her to cancel her annual appearance at her Labor Day show at her ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tenn., at the last minute. Lynn canceled all of her September appearances after undergoing minor surgery following the injury.
