Congratulations are in order for Maren Morris, whose debut single, "My Church," was just certified gold.

"When you're recovering from your tonsillectomy and you get the best news ever," she captions a photo of the single artwork on Instagram. "'My Church' went officially gold this week! Can't thank the fans enough for owning my music like a BOSS."

Morris' 2016 is shaping up to be a successful one. The newcomer will release her debut album Hero on June 3, the day after she hits the road with Keith Urban and Brett Eldredge for Urban's Ripcord Tour.

In a recent interview, Morris reflects on her long journey to finding success.

“It seems like almost every day I’ve been able to cross things off my bucket list,” she tells People. “It was March of last year that I wrote ‘My Church,’ and that’s what set a lot of this in motion.”

Before releasing her own album, Morris will be featured on Dierks Bentley's upcoming project Black on a song called "I'll Be the Moon."

“I want to be as gracious and thankful as I can because it has been a long road,” Morris adds. “I’m young but I’ve been doing this a long time … There’s obviously a lot of hard work that goes into it. It’s a hard town. There’s a lot of talent here. It’s all about timing, too. I just feel like I finally found the right town and the right song.”
