Eli Young Band's lead vocalist, Mike Eli, is quickly gearing up for fatherhood. As Taste of Country reported back in March, the singer and his wife Kacey are expecting their first baby in August, so it makes sense that they're tilling their brains looking for a name for their tiny son or daughter.

Rest assured, the littlest Eli won't be called "James" or "Jamie" like EYB bandmate James Young has suggested. The expectant couple will be keeping the name under wraps until the little one arrives, but revealed that they have decided to carry on a family tradition and have his/her name start with the letter "K."

The band doesn't expect things to change much, but says that Baby K will mix in a new dynamic to their touring, adding, "and hey, we get some time off!"

Eli Young Band will continue to tour as the opening act on the Rascal Flatts Changed Tour through the month of August. Hopefully little "K" baby arrives on time so Eli won't have to jump through the same hoops that Flatts' Jay DeMarcus recently did with the arrival of his new son, Dylan Jay.
