Singer-songwriter Morgan Evans has signed a record deal with Warner Music Nashville, which means he ought to be able to spend more time with his country star wife-to-be.

Evans, who is engaged to Kelsea Ballerini, hails from Newcastle, Australia. He began playing guitar at 13 and would later tour the country in a band with his brother. Evans decided to pursue music full-time after he witnessed Keith Urban live in concert when he was 17.

The singer-songwriter and musician has been signed to Warner Music Australia since 2012 and will continue his relationship with the Warner Music family in Nashville.

Ballerini shared her excitement for her man's new deal, tweeting, "Couldn't be more happy or proud of this human. So patient, so humble, SO talented. Excited to ride the roller coaster with you babe."

The couple got engaged on Christmas Day 2016.

To celebrate his new deal, Evans put together a mashup of some of his new WMN label mates.

"I just signed a deal with Warner so to celebrate I thought I'd come in here and do a mashup of my favorite songs by Warner artists," the singer says in a video posted to Instagram.

His mashup includes Brett Eldredge's "Don't Ya," Cole Swindell's "Middle of a Memory," Blake Shelton's "God Gave Me You" and Dan + Shay's "Nothin' Like You." Watch his performance in the video above.

Evans was raised in a steel and coal town on the east coast of Australia. His early musical influences include Garth Brooks, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Led Zeppelin. He is currently working on new music in the studio with songwriter and producer Chris DeStefano.

The singer's calendar continues to pile up as he will play the Grand Ole Opry stage on Friday (May 19) and heads to Nashville's Bluebird Cafe on Saturday (May 20).
