Randy Houser Burns the Midnight Oil in ‘Runnin’ Outta Moonlight’ Video
If you're not already yearning for cool summer nights outside, Randy Houser's new 'Runnin' Outta Moonlight' video will do the trick. With a gorgeous starscape, full moon and inky black sky, this clip will make you want to pull an all-nighter.
The video opens with a shot of Houser's band playing underneath a starry night sky. In the distance, a truck is driving down a country road that is lit up by the soft light of a full moon and bright stars.
The camera pans again, revealing that the truck is driving toward a house. All of the lights are dark and everyone is asleep -- except for a pretty brunette who opens one of the upstairs windows. She doesn't have to communicate with the driver to figure out what to do. She slips outside unseen, and hops into the truck with an attractive young guy.
With hours of moonlight ahead of them, the young lovers drive through the country to an empty field where they can lie in the grass and do some star-gazing. By the end of the three-minute clip, the happy couple are pointing out constellations to each other and watching the full moon slowly get replaced by a vivid sunrise.
If you weren't already thinking about ditching work to stay up all night and enjoy the spring weather, the 'Runnin' Outta Moonlight' video will have you itching to spend a night staring at the sky. After all, like the song says, "every now and then you get a night like this," and you can't pass up an opportunity to enjoy it!
