Yesterday, Dec. 14, 2010, the Recording Academy's Nashville Chapter announced its FANtasy Auction series. The auctions will provide amazing prize packages to winning bidders, and all of the funds received will go toward the Nashville Chapter's yearly programming efforts. The auctions will run until June 30, 2011, with  different prizes to bid on each month.

The first package up for auction is a pair of Tim McGraw concert tickets and two pre-show passes. The winner may choose to attend any of Tim McGraw's shows on his 2011 tour. The pre-show passes may include an intimate, acoustic performance from McGraw or a meet and greet opportunity with the award-winning country musician, depending on the winner's preference. Other scheduled prize packages are a meet and greet with Montgomery Gentry and an 'eat and greet' with the Zac Brown Band, with more auction items being announced throughout early 2011.

The Recording Academy's Nashville Chapter generates a broad program of professional services for the music community centered in Nashville. Programs and services run by the Nashville Chapter include, for example, educational panels featuring music industry experts, genre outreach events, the Grammy Viewing Party, the Grammy Nominee Party and the Chapter's annual Grammy Block Party and Membership Celebration.
